AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles,
Washington, revising the Official Zoning Map and
amending Ordinance No. 1709 as amended.
WHEREAS, in order to make the City's Official Zoning Map
more useful in determining the zoning designations of specific lots
or parcels of property, the Official Zoning Map should be revised
to a scale that reflects a greater level of detail; and
WHEREAS, the Official Zoning Map may be printed to various
scales from the computer assisted design drawing (CADD) located in
the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, in the process of revising the zoning map to a
more detailed scale, it is possible that mistakes in the CADD data
base may be reflected, thus affording the opportunity to correct
such mistakes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map and Ordinance 1709, as
amended, are hereby amended by repealing the Official Zoning Map
set forth in Ordinance No. 2767, as amended, and adopting the
larger scale Official Zoning Map attached hereto as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. Wherever the Official Zoning Map deviates from
the property descriptions set forth in the Zoning Code, Ordinance
1709, as amended, the Zoning Code legal description shall be the
actual and controlling designation of the property's zoning
classification.
Section 3. In the event an inaccuracy in the Official
Zoning Map is discovered as set forth in Section 2 above, the
Official Zoning Map shall be deemed to incorporate the correct
legal description of the zoning designation of the area in
question, and, upon receipt of a detailed description of the
correction from the Public Works and Planning Departments, the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and execute a

corrected version of the Official Zoning Map.
Section 4 - Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect five days after publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at
a regular meeting of said Council held on the 5th day of April,
1994.

Ordinance No. 2801
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the Official Zoning Map and
amends Ordinance No. 1709, as amended.
Ordinance No. 2802
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles expands the policy for payment of
refreshments at City facilities and amends Ordinance No. 2480, as amended, and
Chapter 2.06 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be
mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These Ordinances shall take effect five days after the date of publication of these summaries.
