HomeMy WebLinkAbout2856ORDINANCE NO. 2856 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles revising the setback requirements in the CSD, Community Shopping District, and amending Ordinance 1709 and Section 17.22.200 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Angeles has held a public hearing and reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission on a proposed amendment to Section 17.22.200 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code as set forth in the Planning Commission Minutes of January 11, 1995, and; WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment will provide flexibility in development of properties in the CSD, Community Shopping District while ensuring that public safety standards are maintained. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, and Chapter 17.22 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code are hereby amended by amending PAMC 17.22.200 to read as follows: 17.22.200 Development Standards. A. Area and Dimensional Requirements: 1. Minimum Lot Area 7,000 square feet. 2. Minimum Lot Width 50 feet. 3. Minimum Yard Requirements No structure shall be built within 15 feet of an alley that abuts a residential zoning classification or of any property that has a residential zoning classification. Setbacks shall conform to the requirements of Ordinance No. 1635 for arterial streets. No loading structure or dock with access onto the alley shall be built within 15 feet of an alley. Driveway access onto an alley shall maintain a vision clearance triangle. The vision clearance triangle shall extend 10 feet along the alley and 15 feet along the edge of the driveway, measured from the point of intersection of each side of the driveway and the alley right -of- way line. 4. Maximum Lot Coverage - 50% of the total site area. 5. Maximum Height - 30 feet. Ordinance No. 2858 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles implements and provides a process for amending the new Comprehensive Plan, establishes a new title in the Port Angeles Municipal Code to be called "Growth Management ", and adopts Chapter 18.04 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 2859 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles establishes the Enhanced 9 -1 -1 Project Fund for administration of funds in connection with the Police Department building remodel, E9 -1 -1 equipment installation and personnel training.
