HomeMy WebLinkAbout2876ORDINANCE NO. 2876 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning 5.37 acres located on Eighteenth Street west of "N" Street from RS -9, Residential Single - Family, to RMD, Residential Medium Density. WHEREAS, the City received an application for rezone of 5.37 acres, and the Planning Department has recommended approval of the rezone located on 18th Street approximately two hundred ten feet west of "N" Street, from RS -9, Residential Single Family, to RMD, Residential Medium Density; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing and recorded its -ecommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of July 12, 1995; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing and finds that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in circumstances since the area was originally zoned, would Se in the best interest of the City and its citizens, and would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2827) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from RS- ), Residential Single - Family District, to RMD, Residential Medium Density; The westerly three hundred thirty -five feet of the northerly four hundred twenty -one feet and the westerly three hundred twenty -six feet of the southerly two hundred eighty -four feet of Suburban Lot 103, Townsite of Port Angeles. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor. Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date of publication. Ordinance No. 2876 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones 5.37 acres of land located on Eighteenth Street west of "N" Street from RS -9, Residential Single - Family, to RMD, Residential Medium Density, and amends the Official Zoning Map. Ordinance No. 2877 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles establishes a plan and system for Capital Improvements; authorizes the issuance of a series of electric revenue bonds in the principal amount of $2,760,000 to finance a portion of the City's electric utility capital improvement program; and authorizes the sale of such bonds by competitive bid. Ordinance No. 2878 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the requirements for disposal of surplus real and personal property and amends Ordinance 2168 as amended, and Chapter 2.50 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
