HomeMy WebLinkAbout2883ORDINANCE NO. 2883 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, establishing a right -of -way use fee for retail stands and amending Ordinance 2070 as amended, Ordinance 2789, and Chapters 3.70 and 17.26 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Ordinance 2070 as amended and Chapter 17.26 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code are hereby amended by adding PAMC 17.26.065 to read as follows: 17.26.065 - Right -of -Way Use Fee. In addition to the Conditional Use Permit fee, retail stands that are to be located within City right -of -way shall also be required to pay to the City of Port Angeles an annual rental fee in the amount set forth in PAMC 3.70.040, which shall be paid prior to initial occupancy on a pro -rata basis for use beginning during the calendar year and shall be paid on January 1st of each calendar year thereafter. Section 2. Section 15 of Ordinance 2789 and PAMC 3.70.040 are hereby amended to read as follows: 3.70.040 Planning Department Fees. The fee for filing an application for the following Planning permit applications and appeals shall be as follows: A. Annexation - $300.00 B. Appeals from decisions on all permits administered by the Planning Department - $150.00. C. Appeals - Other - $150.00 D. Boundary Line Adjustment - $75.00 E. Comprehensive Plan Amendment - $350.00 F. Conditional Use Permit - $250.00 G. Environmental Checklist - $100.00 H. Extension of permit - $30.00 I. Home Occupation /Other CUPs - $125.00 J. Planned Residential Development 1. Preliminary - $350.00 2. Final - $150.00 3. Modifications - $150.00 K. Open Space Exemption - $30.00 L. Parking Variance - $175.00 M. Plats 1. Preliminary Short Plats (1 -5 lots) - $150.00 a. Final Short Plats - $30 per lot 2. Preliminary Subdivision Plats (6+ lots) - $150.00 + $5.00 per lot a. Final Subdivision Plats - $30 per lot N. Retail Stand Right -of -Way Use - $50 per year NO. Rezone and Zoning Code Amendments - $350.00 6P. SEPA appeals under PAMC 15.04.280 - $150.00 PQ. Shoreline Substantial Development Permit $200 QR. Shoreline Permit Revision - $100.00 RS. Wetlands Permit - $150.00 Section 3 - Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after publication. Ordinance No. 2882 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles amends Section 17.22.220 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code as it relates to signs in the CSD, Community Shopping District. Ordinance No. 2883 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles establishes a right -of -way fee for retail stands and amends Ordinances 2070 and 2789, as amended, and Chapters 3.70 and 17.26 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 2884 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles amends Ordinance 2351, as amended, and enlarges the boundaries of the Parking and Business Improvement Area. Ordinance No. 2885 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the process for adopting clearing and grading rules and guidelines and amends Ordinance 2734 and Chapter 15.28 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 2886 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the specifications for driveways, and amends Ordinance 2166 and Chapter 11.08 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 2887 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the Civil Service policies and provisions that govern the system of employment of Police and Fire Department personnel by changing the composition of the Interview Board and increasing the number of candidates certified for possible appointment for entry level positions and amends Ordinance 2371, as amended, and Chapter 2.22 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
