HomeMy WebLinkAbout2971ORDINANCE NO. 2971 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning property located in Block 429 and Block 442, from Commercial Neighborhood and Residential Single Family to Industrial Light and from Commercial Neighborhood to Residential Single Family. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public meeting and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of October 8, 1997; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said rezone would be in the best interest of the City and its citizens and would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows: Section 1 The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2801) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from CN, Commercial Neighborhood, to IL, Industrial Light: Lots 11 - 13, Block 429 and Lots 8 - 12, Block 442, Townsite of Port Angeles; Section 2. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2801) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property from RS -7, Residential Single Family, to IL, Industrial Light: Lots 14 and 15, Block 429 and Lot 7 of Block 442 Townsite of Port Angeles; Section 3 The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2801) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described property 1 from CN, Commercial Neighborhood to RS -7, Residential Single Family: Lot 13, Block 442, Townsite of Port Angeles. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy with the Clallam County Auditor. Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date of publication.
