HomeMy WebLinkAbout2976ORDINANCE NO. 2976 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning property located in Blocks 2 and 3 of Cains Subdivision of Suburban Lot 21 and in Block 63 of Lewis and Mastick's Subdivision of Suburban Lot 22 from RS -7, Residential Single Family, to PBP, Public Buildings and Parks, and amending Ordinances 1709 and 2801, as amended. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a public meeting and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of December 10, 1997; and WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said' rezone would be in the best interest of the City and its citizens and would be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows: Section L The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2801) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described properties from RS -7, Residential Single Family, to PBP, Public Buildings and Parks: Lots 6 - 10 and the vacated alley adjoining said lots in Block 2 of Cains Subdivision of Suburban Lot 21 in the City of Port Angeles, as per plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, page 63, records of Clallam County. Lots 1 - 5 and the vacated alley adjoining said lots and Lots 7 - 10 in Block 3 of Cains Subdivision of Suburban Lot 21 in the City of Port Angeles, as per plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, page 63, records of Clallam County, TOGETHER WITH the East half of the vacated alley adjoining on the West of Lots 7 - 10, EXCEPT FOR the Westerly 8 feet of said lots and vacated alley, which 8 feet shall include the East half of said alley, which is approximately 7 1/2 feet and 1/2 foot of each of Lots 7 - 10. Lot 4, Block 63 of Lewis and Mastick's Subdivision of Suburban Lot 22 in the City of Port Angeles, as per plat thereof recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, page 52, records of Clallam County. Section 2 The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to 1 the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy with the Clallam County Auditor. Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date of publication. Ordinance No. 2977 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles makes several changes to the City's land use ordinances by increasing the Zoning Code height limitation for the Community Shopping District and Commercial Arterial zones, revises the setback requirements in the Public Buildings and Parks zone, adopts a subdivision identification sign standard, adopts recent SEPA guidelines by reference, amends Ordinances 1709, 1631, 2312, and 2552, as amended, and amends Chapters 17.22, 17.23, 17.40, 16.08, and 15.04 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 2978 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the Budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1997, adopts the budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1998, and amends Ordinance 2940.
