HomeMy WebLinkAbout3106ORDINANCE NO . 3106 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles revising the budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2001, adopting the budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2002, providing for a cost of living increase for certain city employees, and amending Ordinance 3070. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. The annual budget of the City of Port Angeles for the year 2002, as prepared by the City Manager for said City, and as finally amended, fixed, and determined as to every item by the City Council after a public hearing having been held on Tuesday, November 20, 2001, and Monday, December 3, 2001, and notice of said hearing having been given and published in the manner provided by law, is hereby adopted, approved and confirmed. Section 2. The 2001 budget appropriations as set forth in Ordinance 3070 are hereby amended, and the 2002 budget appropriations are hereby adopted, in accordance with the following summary of the totals of appropriations for each separate fund and the aggregate total for all such funds combined: Department or Fund 2001 2002 Amended Adopted A. The City Clerk is hereby directed to keep on file the budget referred to in Sections 1 and 2 above and to transmit a complete copy of the final budget to the Division of Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor and to the Association of Washington Cities. Section 4. In accordance with the Budget referred to in Sections 1 and 2 above, effective January 1, 2002, through December 31, 2002, salaries and wages for employees represented by IAFF #656, AFSCME #1619, Administrative/Management, non - represented Pool employees, and Teamsters Non -Sworn #589 employees shall be increased by 3.15 %. The above salaries and wages shall be paid in bi- weekly installments per accounting procedures established by the City of Port Angeles, and shall be paid within five (5) working days after the end of the payroll period, or as soon thereafter, per procedures established by the City of Port Angeles. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after publication. ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: Craig D. son, City Attorney PUBLISHED December 7, 2001 (By Summary) - 3 - Summaries of Ordinances Adopted by the Port Angeles City Council on December 3, 2001 Ordinance No. 3104 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, increases Senior Center membership fees for City residents from $7.00 to $10.00 and for County residents from $10.00 to $15.00. This Ordinance also amends Ordinance 2789, as amended, and Chapter 3.70 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 3105 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, increases the basic life support transport charge for non - residents from $250.00 to $280.00, applies the $33.00 disposable equipment fee to all Medic I transports rather than just non - resident transports, and amends Ordinance 2274, as amended, and Chapter 8.36 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 3106 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, revises the budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2001, adopts the budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2002, provides for a cost of living increase for certain city employees, and amends Ordinance 3070. The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be mailed upon request.
