HomeMy WebLinkAbout3178ORDINANCE NO . 3178 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles amending the 2004 budget, adopting the 2005 budget, and providing for a cost of living increase for certain city employees. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. The annual budget of the City of Port Angeles for the year 2005, as finally amended, fixed, and determined by the City Council after public hearings held on Monday, November 1, 2004, Tuesday, November 16, 2004, and Tuesday, December 7, 2004, and notice of said hearing having been given and published in the manner provided by law, is hereby adopted, approved and confirmed. Section 2. Estimated resources, including fund balances or working capital for each separate fund of the City of Port Angeles, and aggregate totals (net of transactions between funds) for all such funds combined, for the year 2005 are set forth in summary form below, and are hereby appropriated for expenditure at the fund level during the year 2005 as set forth below: Department or Fund 2004 2005 Amended Adopted A. Governmental Capital Projects $5,033,000 $5,696,000 TOTAL FUNDS $76,473,818 $76,308,999 Section 3 The City Clerk is hereby directed to keep on file the budget referred to in Sections 1 and 2 above and to transmit a complete copy of the final budget to the Division of Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor and to the Association of Washington Cities. Section 4. In accordance with the budget referred to in Sections 1 and 2 above, effective January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005, salaries and wages for Administrative /Management and other non - represented employees shall be increased by 2.0 %. The above salaries and wages shall be paid in bi- weekly installments per accounting procedures established by the City of Port Angeles, and shall be paid within five (5) working days after the end of the payroll period, or as soon thereafter, per procedures established by the City of Port Angeles. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after publication. Ordinance No. 3179 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amends and updates the City's development regulations to be consistent with the City's revised Comprehensive Plan by adding a new Chapter 15.02 Definitions, and amends Chapters 14.36, 15.20, 15.24, 15.28, and 16.08 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 3180 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amends and updates the City's development regulations to be consistent with the City's revised Comprehensive Plan by amending portions of the Zoning Code, Title 17, of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. Ordinance No. 3181 This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, rezones the following described property: From RS -9 (Residential, Single Family (9,000 square feet)) and RMD (Residential, Medium Density), to RS -11 (Residential, Single Family (11,000 square feet)): The subject area is bounded on the southeast by Milwaukee Drive, the 16''' Street right -of -way on the southwest, 10th Street and the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the north, and the cemetery on the west, with the exception of the area currently zoned RTP. From IL (Industrial, Light) to PBP (Public Buildings and Parks): Parcel #0630001173000000, Lot 173 except S & E of right -of -way Recorded in Surveys Volume 56, Page 10. From CN (Commercial Neighborhood) to CSD (Community Shopping District): The area adjacent to 8th Street bounded by Laurel and Oak Streets and the 7/8 alley on the north and the 8/9 alley on the south; also the area adjacent to 8th Street bounded by Chase and Peabody Streets, and the 7/8 alley on the north and the 8/9 alley on the south; except the area currently zoned PBP and occupied by the City of Port Angeles' Community Center parking lot.
