ORDINANCE NO. 3 3 8 6
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, creating a fund
for contract administration, maintenance and operation ofthe William
Shore Memorial Pool, and adding a new Section, 3.16, to Chapter 3
of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that there is need to establish a special
fund to be identified as the "William Shore Memorial Pool District Administration Fund" for the
purpose of administration, maintenance and operation of revenue received from the William
Shore Memorial Pool District.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES do hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Chapter 3, Revenue and Finance, of the Port Angeles Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding a new Chapter, PAMC 3.16, to read as follows:
Chapter 3.16
WILLIAM SHORE MEMORIAL POOL DISTRICT FUND
Sections:
3.16.010 Fund Created.
3.16.020 Revenue.
3.16.030 Expenditures.
3.16.040 Administration.
3.16.010 - Fund Created.
There is hereby established in the City Treasu a special fund designated and known as
the "William Shore Memorial Pool District Fund."
3.16.020 - Revenue.
All sums collected under the Agreement for Operation of William Shore Memorial Pool
dated June 26, 2009 between the City and the William Shore Memorial Pool District shall be
deposited and kept in the "William Shore Memorial Pool District Fund."

3.16.030 - Expenditures.
The "William Shore Memorial Pool District Fund" shall be used and expended only for
the payment of necessary or proper expenditures or obligations incurred in or incident to the
performance of the City's duties and obligations under the contract between the City and William
Shore Memorial Pool District.
3.16.040 - Administration.
The Director of Public Works and Utilities is authorized to approve expenditures from
this fund. The Finance Director is charged with administration of said fund.
Section 2 - Severability. If any provisions of this Ordinance or its applications to any
person or circumstances is held to be invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or application of
the provisions of the Ordinance to other persons or circumstances is not affected.
Section 3 - Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically
delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum. This ordinance shall take
effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of
the title.
Section 4 - Corrections. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are
authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the
correction of the scrivener's /clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection
numbers and any references thereto.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 1st day of December, 2009.
