HomeMy WebLinkAbout3455• ollows: • ORDINANCE NO. 3455 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amending Ordinance No. 1975, as amended, vacating a portion of the 18/19 alley and a portion of Nineteenth Street. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES do hereby ordain as Section 1. Ordinance 1975, Section 1, as amended, is amended to read as follows: "Section 1. The following described portions of Nineteenth Street and alley in Block 454 are hereby vacated_ so long as Clallam County That portion of Nineteenth Street abutting Lot 1, Block 457, TPA, and Lots 16, 17 and 18, Block 454, TPA, and lying north of the northerly margin of Lauridsen Boulevard; And That portion of the alley in Block 454, abutting Lots 3, 4, 5, 16, 17 and 18; and "Said vacation to become effective provided: 1. An application for rezone of Lots 16 and 17, Block 454, and Lot 1, Block 457, all in the Townsite of Port Angeles, from RS -7 to M -1 shall be filed by Clallam County, and no use of the property for a shop facility or other non - residential use shall occur prior to approval of said rezone by the City; 2. Redevelopment plans for the shop facility shall be submitted to the City Planning Commission and City Council for approval of an M -1 Permit. Plans shall include provisions for storm drainage and landscaping, with landscaping screening to be provided on all street frontages in addition to the greenbelt shown on the site plan submitted with the application, a copy of which site plan is attached." -1- • Section 2 - Corrections. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make necessary orrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of the crivener's /clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers and ny references thereto. Section 3 - Severability. If any provisions of this Ordinance, or its application to any person or circumstances, re held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance, or application of the provisions of the ordinance to other persons or circumstances, is not affected. Section 4 - Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City egislative body, is not subject to referendum. This ordinance shall take effect five days after is publication by summary.
