Willson, Building Inspector Old Business - There is no old business New Business - No new applications have been received. Other Business - The City Council received a request aror rezoning the CSD-Cl zone on east Eighth Street, east or Peabody canyon, to a CAD zone. The property involved is as follows: Block 225 Townsite Lots 16 - 18 inclusive n 224 n n 10- 18 n n 223 n n 10 & 11 n 275 n n 1 _ 9 n n 276 n It 8 5. 9 They have requested a recommendation from the Planning Commission for this rezone. The hearing date has not been established yet. Further, the Council has asked me to determine when the Planning Commission members would find it convenient to hold a joint work session pertinent to the proposed zoning ordinance revisions. Council Action - At its meeting of 1/6/70 the City Council denied the request of Time Oil Company for permission to construct a Single Family Residence in the CAD zone. As ofhthis date, I have no further business scheduled for this meeting. Several inquiries pertinent to zoning and land uses have come in which I recommended the party take up with the Planning Commission, however I have no idea if they will actually be in. e e - Minutes of the Port Angeles Planning Commission meeting of January 12, 1970. Present: Hunt, McHone, Treat, Driscoll, Anderson and Building Inspector Willson Absent: Dilling and Hankins The meeting was opened at 7:35 P.M. in the Municipal Chambers. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as received. Old Business - There was no old business on the agenda. New Business - No new applications had been received. Other Business - The rezoning request of Graham Ralston, referred to the Planning Commission by the City Council was brought up for discussion. Mr. Ralston and his attorney Frank Platt were present and reviewed their reasons for the request with the Planning Commission. Following the discussion, the Planning Commission voted to table the matter for further consideration. The secretary inquired about a convenient date for a joint work- shop with members of the Council. January 22nd was suggested as an acceptable ev.ening by all present. ~ A short discussion of various zoning items followed, and the meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. Secretary e
