Minutes of the special meeting of the Port Angeles Planning Commission
January 30th, 1962.
Members present were Hunt, Driscoll, Hankins, Anderson, Reiners and
Strange. Also present was City Engineer John Warder. Present in addition
were Mr. LeRoy Kittaelman, Kr. John Key and Engineer John U. Wright.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The special meeting had been called to consider the application of Mr.
Kittselman and Mr. Key for approval of their plan to re-platt lots 23-
24 and 25 of Alderwood Acre Tracts. They submitted a preliminary plan
showing a division of the tracts into ten lots, each of which would have
an area of 7,000 square feet or more. They also suggested a fifty foot
wide roadway with a turnaround as per plat. After a lengthy discussion,
the Planning Commission offered the following as a prerequisite to
approval:
f l. The street be rough graded.
2. Easement for right of way for utilities along lot lines.
f 3. Installation of monuments.
- 4. Installation of sewer on north side of tract to service
Lots 1-2-3 & 4.
.r 5. Furnish City Engineer with cloth based map of plat.
With these matters included, the Planning Commission unanimously
recommends to the City Council that tentative approval be given to the
preliminary plan, with final approval to come at a later date after the
recommendations have been cpmplied with.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
