HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 06/18/1963 II'" -. Minutes of the regular meeting of the Port Angeles Planning Co~~ission June l8, 1963. Members present were Anderson, Hankins, Hunt., McGee, Reiners and Strange. Also present was City Engineer John Warder (Acting City Manager). Minutes of the preVious meeting were read and approved. e. In a discussion with John Warder regarding the schedule of Arterial improvements over the next few years, the members set Tuesdays July 16th and July 30th as dates at which time the meetings would be devoted to the above study. Arrangements had been made for this meeting to be devoted to a discussion of the Planning Survey being conducted by M. G. Poole and Associates. Mr. Poole being present, was then invited to lead the study. Mr. Poole stated the second stage of the Clallam Regional Planning Program, in which our City is one of the participants, had been approved as of June 8th, 1963 and it was therefor necessary for our group to study and approve a program setting forth our policies and objectives to govern a comprehensive plan for our City. Mr. Poole, having prepared a list of suggested policies and objectives, the Commission gave over the meeting to their study. After eliminating some items which did not apply to our City, the Commission gave tentative approval to the list as corrected, a copy of which are attached to and become a part of these minutes. Mr. Poole advised the Commission he was now prepared to proceed with the framing of a Comprehensive Planning Program for our city. No further business appearing, meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M. Respectfully submitted, m~ H. H. Hankins, Secretary '. cc to John Warder Paul Reed ~ l-' ~ l-' ~ l-' \D ro -..J 0"0 Ul ~ (H CI:) ~ (J1 .p. Vl ro t-' 0 .
