Minutes of the regular meeting of the Port Angeles Planning Commission, September l8th, 1962. .- Members present were Anderson, Drisooll, Hunt, McGee, Hankins, Reiners and strange. Also present was City Engineer John Warder. Minutes of the last special meeting were read and approved. Chairman read a letter from Mr. James Bruce of 1 6 West 7th asking for permission to conduct a real estate brokers office fro~ h s home. Chairman was instructed to notify Mr. Bruce, the Commission was without authority to grant such a request. Chairman read a letter from Mr. Tyler Moffett, City Attorney, advising procedure on applications for vacating streets and alleys. Application of Mr. Lloyd A. Lindberg of 1811 East 3rd Street requesting a variance from the front yard hold back on Lot 17, Block 117, F. G. Riohards, Jr. SUbdivision which is located at the East City boundary with 3rd street was read and a hearing date of October ~h was set. ~ Members then adjourned to the Council room in the police building where they heard a report from Mr. M. G. Poole on the progress he is making on a planning survey of Port Angeles and Clallam County. Mr. Poole gave a rather comprehensive report and at the conclusion asked the Planning Commission to have a series of "work party" meetings with him to develope the plan as it applys to our City. The members of the Commission agreed to this and set the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of October and November for such meetings. No further business appearing, meeting adjourned at 9:l5 P.M.
