Members present were Hunt, Reiners, McGee) Driscoll, Hankins & Strange. Also present was City Engineer John Warder. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Present at meetin was Mr. John Key who had an application berore Commission for subdivision of, Lot-23 of Alderwood Acre Tracks. It wa~explained to Mr. Key and also Mr. Leroy Kitselman, owner of Tract -24~w'fio plans fUDure subdivision of his property, that the whole matter was under study and no decision could be given at this time. Inasmuch as the matter is not too urgent at this time, both men agreed to meet with us at our negt meeting. Chairman brought up the matter of payment for clerical and stenographic help for the past year. Motion was unanimously passed that Phyllis Gardner be paid $50.00 for this assistance. . Chairman then reported on a talk he had had with City Attorney Tyler C. Moffett, the outcome of which decided that the best way to bring our Zoning Ordinance up to date would be to repeal the present ordinance and adopt a new one after holding the proper hearings on comprehensive plan etc. In order to expedite this matter the Chairman appointed a committee of himself, M~. Warder and Mr. Doge. Also any other member of the Commission that wished to serve. This COmmltte8) after making a thorough study of the matter including new additions to the proposed ordinance, are to report back to the members of the Planning Commission, also the City Council for their approval.
