HomeMy WebLinkAbout4.264 Amendment (6)THIS AMENDMENT to the solid waste disposal contract dated December 19, 2000 is made and
entered into by and between the City of Port Angeles, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called the
"City and the City of Sequim, a municipal corporation, hereinafter call the "Contractor
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor are parties to a solid waste disposal; and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor have agree to extend the sold waste disposal contract through
February 28, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Contractor hereby agree that the solid waste disposal contract
dated December 19, 2000 is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 2, Terms of Contract, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The term of this contract shall continue until February 28, 2007.
2. Paragraph 3, Consideration,, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The Contractor shall pay the rates established in PAMC 13.57.020.B; provided, however, in the event
the Contractor on or before February 28, 2007, becomes a party to that Interlocal Agreement identified in
PAMC 13.57.010.H, then all rates due from the Contractor for the entire term of this agreement shall be
calculated on the basis of the rates established in PAMC 13.57.020.A.
3. All references in the solid waste disposal contract to the City's Landfill are amended to the City's
Transfer Station.
4. Except as provided above, the solid waste disposal contract, as amended, is ratified and
confirmed.
