The board composition is defined in new by-laws agreed upon but awaiting final review by our counsel and then a vote by our members. The agreed board composition is attached along with the relevant explanation in the by-laws. It is expected that the City of Port Angeles is a member of the EDC in good standing and that its representative be either a key staff or council member. Ideally, your private sector appointment would be someone with exceptional business development experience who is already a member of the EDC. It is our hope to set the new board in place by 19 March, and no later than April 16 should there be a technical delay. We expect that your representatives would be appointed annually by December 31. Yours sincerely, Ken Hays President Clallam County Economic Development Council Encl: 1. Relevant section of new by-laws 2.
