Re: Appointment to Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission
Dear Mr. Shargel:
At its meeting of March 3, 2015, the City Council considered various upcoming tern
expirations on City Boards, Commissions and Committees. The Council unanimously
appointed you to the membership of the Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission for
the term March 1, 2014- February 28, 2018.
You will be hearing from the staff of the Parks & Recreation Department in the near future to
provide you with current information relative to your appointment to the Parks Connnission.
The Council looks forward to your involvement in the deliberations of the Commission as
there are many extremely important issues being addressed. We thank you for your
willingness to serve the citizens of Port Angeles.
