Dear Port Angeles City Council:
I cannot express emphatically enough how disappointed I am to read today's headline
that you have voted to renew the fluoride agreement.
Please, PLEASE renege on the agreement (if it hasn't already been consummated;
otherwise,just don't renew it) and stop fluoridating our water. I have never felt more
strongly about any other issue. I never received a survey with which to express my
opinion (even though I own a business in town with its own utility account, in addition to
a residence). I wrote one letter via email and it never got a reply. I discard thousands of
water bottles a year for no reason than to avoid the fluoride; but unfortunately even that
isn't adequate, due to absorption through the skin.
Please stop fluoridating our water, stop it immediately, and never do it again. At
whatever cost.
