AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES
AND
MURRAY, SMITH, & ASSOCIATES, INC.
PROJECT WW 07-2013
EDIZ HOOK SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAIN RENOVATION
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 3 is made and entered into by and between the City of Port Angeles,
a non-charter code city of the State of Washington, (hereinafter called the "CITY") and
MURRAY, SMITH, & ASSOCIATES, INC a Washington Corporation authorized to do
business in the State of Washington (hereinafter called the "CONSULTANT");
The CITY entered into the existing AGREEMENT with the CONSULTANT on March 6, 2014,
(the AGREEMENT), August 22, 2014 (Amendment 1), December 31, 2014 (Amendment 2) and
has proposed Amendment 3 (the AMENDMENT); and
WHEREAS, the CITY desires to amend the AGREEMENT to amend the Time of Performance.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the representations and the terms, conditions,
covenants and agreements set forth in this AMENDMENT, the Agreement is hereby amended as
follows:
I. SCOPE OF WORK
No change.
II. TIME OF PERFORMANCE
The time required for the City to collect gravity main inspection reports, and H2S field
measurements lengthened the time needed for performance; the Consultant agreed to continue
performance on the tasks outline in the scope of services. Therefore, the time of performance in
Section IV of the original contract is amended to read: The duration of the Agreement shall
extend through December 1, 2015.
III MAXIMUM COMPENSATION
No change.
IV RATIFICATION
As amended herein, the Agreement and the Amendments are ratified and confirmed.
