The poster provides highlights of investments being made by Washington tribes. It also includes a state map depicting the general location and a brief description of each tribe. Washington's tribal government leaders are making investments to improve the lives of people on their reservations and throughout our state. These investments include education, sustaining natural resources, building community and preserving Native American culture. Some of the material used in the poster, including the map and photos, were incorporated in a special Seattle Times newspaper insert published on November 8, 2015 and are being distributed to Washington schools. You can view an electronic version of the Times' insert at http://bit.ly/IUeGtgf. If you would like additional copies of the poster, please email info@ washingtontribes.com. Sincerely, -w -T W.
