100th Anniversary of Tanabu High School
*A For many years our cities have united in a friendship that has brought our families and
communities together. As we share our students, teachers, and delegates, we learn about each of
our cultures and over the years, have created countless memories. Through our special bond we
have shared. your joys, as your celebrations are our celebrations. It is with great pride that I
congratulate your City on the 100th anniversary of Tanabu High School and wish you much joy
that comes with such a milestone.
As Mayor, I have been able to witness many beautiful events in our City. One particular highlight
is the new friendships that have begun through our exchange. We look forward to welcoming
Tanabu students as our relationship grows more special with each passing year. We are eager to
greet your students this fall.
Our communities each have a deep interest in the future of our children. This program offers our
children and teachers an opportunity to enrich our understandings of each other's cultures. Our
students are able to explore mutual concerns of environmental and global issues and learn how our
Cities handle the challenges we each experience.
We look forward to each and every visit from our Sister City schools and will continue to open
our homes and our hearts. Thank you for your continued friendship, may we continue our
exchange of friendship and fond memories for years to come.
