These Clubs offer nutritious food, homework help, and supportive relationships with adults. Sarah and her siblings are being raised by a single mother who is absent most of the time and definitely not present for recognition, praise or even simpler parenting tasks for her children. lt's at the Club where they find connections with our caring staff, where they know they matter. Our Clubs in Port Angeles and Sequim provide o sdfe plocefor children like Sarah who may be home alone or wandering the streets when school is not in session. The Club is an essential support network for busy parents, who know their children are engaged in supervised activities, getting their homework done and cared for when they are at work. Thanks to individualized tutoring, Lizzy will tell you Algebra ll is a breeze and Christian's strong score on the military placement exam means his Coast Guard dreams are within reach. Shaun, Dana, Logan, Cody and many other Club graduates are pursuing military and postsecondary education across the country. Our younger members are participating in athletics, cooking, crafts and literacy activities. They enjoy taking trips to local farms, and exploring the Olympic National Park. When school's out, we're in! Club membership is only $30 per year; scholarships are available to those who cannot afford the modest sum. All children ages 6 to 18 have access to the outcome driven, evidence informed programs that develop character, teach healthy lifestyles and instill self-confidence. Through your financial support of our Clubs, Sarah and all our children have hope, opportunity and a bright future Thonk you tot making the difference!
