As you know, on September 20, 2017, members ofthe Parrs, Recreation and Beautification
Commission interviewed you and other applicants to fill one open position on the
Commission. Members of the Commission were impressed with each ofthe applicants,
making their decision a difficult one regarding who to recommend for appointment. Auer
much deliberation, the Commission recommended to the City Council that they appoint Tim
`Pucker to the Commission. On October 3, the Council approved the Commission's
recommendation.
1 want to thank you for your interest in serving on the Parks Cormn ssion. 1 encourage you to
continue to apply for the Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission in future years
and/or look at the possibility of serving on other vacant committees within the City of Port
Angeles. The City's website has a list of opportunities on these boards and commissions.
