Dear Cherie and Nathan,
On behalf"of the Uyrripin Peninsula Tourism Commission, I would like to recognize and thank the City of
Pert Angeles for its reale in hosting the 2017 CPTC Tourism Summit. We deeply appreciated Deputy
Mayor Cherie Kidd's warm welcome on Thursday, and Mayor Pat mowwney's participation on Fhday. The
visibility of the City's senior leadership throughout the conference made a strong statement regarding Peart
Angeles' understanding of the economic contribution made by visitors to our region.
We are also grateful to the City for providing use of the Vern Burton Community Center„ the,Atrium, and
the City Council Chambers at:no cost to the conference. That made all the difference in our budget.
We certainly appreciate the role that the PortAngeles Regional Chamber of Commerce took to lead the
planning efforts for this year's Summit, 'They brought a lot of creativity, and certainly a lot of tenacity to
the process.
It was good to be back in Port Angeles after a three year hiatus, and the City's local business community
certainly rallied to host a memorable event.. leo dom.abt, you've now got another 150 or so Port Angeles
ambassadors; ready to encourage visitors to come discover aH the delightful offerings of this wvondemful
town.
