For your lawn sprinkler system, you will need to install a double check valve assembly. If your fire sprinkler system is a closed system, you will need to install a double check valve asssembly. All homes in new subdivisions that are outside of the Fire Department four-minute response area shall be equipped with residential fire sprinkler systems that comply with the International Fire Code (IFC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) .
