Community & Economic Development Department May 3, 2006 Mr. Jeff Wheeler 127 South Lincoln #37 Port Angeles, W A 98362 RE: Building Permit #06-405 127 South Lincoln Space #37 Dear Mr. Wheeler: On May 2, 2006, the City issued Building Permit #06-405 for the relocation of a manufactured home in the Peabody Creek RV Park. The permit is hereby revoked. Circumstances which lead to the revocation of the permit are that a building permit within a leased site must contain the approval or some type of paperwork from the property ownership, and in this case, a building permit was never issued for the original set up. The .unit was already in violation of the building standards due to that fact when the application was submitted on May 2, 2006, and you had been notified of that problem by both the Building Inspector and Electrical Inspector. The permit should not have been issued over the counter. The Permit Technician was not aware that you had previously been notified of outstanding violations by both the Building Inspector and the Electrical Inspector. A normal circulation process would have determined these outstanding violations. The site remains in violation of the City's building setup standards, which situation must be addressed immediately. It is imperative that you contact both the Building Inspector and the Electrical Inspector to address outstanding issues regarding the set up of the unit per adopted codes. It is unfortunate that this situation has occurred, but we stand ready to address these issues with you immediately in order for the situation to be resolved.
