This list is not a building permit. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Fire Code or any other federal, state or local regulations 1. Provide address numbers for the buildings. Address numbers are to be a minimum of 6" in height, of contrasting color from their background and easily visible from the street. Building address numbers must not be obstructed by carports. 2. If dumpsters are provided for the facility, they shall not be located within five feet of combustible walls or roof eve lines. ~,,~ 3. Fire sprinkler systems will be required for the buildings. Sprinkler plans will need to be submitted for Fire Department review prior to sprinkler installation. See the Fire Department for information regarding the location of secure exterior access to fire sprinkler risers. 4. Fire alarm systems will be required for all multi-family (R-l) occupancies within the-,. alarmdevelopment. Fire alarm plans will need to be submitted for Fire Department review prior to fire installation. 5. Dead-end streets more than 150 feet in length must be provided with an approved turn-around. 6. Fire apparatus access roads must have a minimum unobstructed width of 20 feet. 7. Two new fire hydrants will be required for the project. See the Fire Department for hydrant placement. 8. Fire extinguishers are required for all multi-family (R- 1) occupancies within the development. A single 2A- 10BC fire extinguisher, preferably mounted in a cabinet, will be required for each four-plex. 9. A Knox Box, security key box, will be required for the development. The Fire Department will assist with the location of the box. Knox Box applications are available at the Fire Department. While I have not seen anyone at this home doing the damage or causing problems, it certainly is becoming an eye-sore. I live in the area and wish to see this home repaired or demolished.
