Hi Betty Jo, I'm writing you in regards to your building permit #09-686 for the addition of the garage with living area above it, and the porch remodel into living space. The last inspection I have on record is a shear wall inspection that was approved on Ol-07-10. Permits are good for six months from the last inspection. Your permit has expired. Please update me on the status of your project. Is it completed and are you ready for a final inspection? If so, please call me at 417-4815 and tell me what afternoon you will be available for an inspection between noon to 5 PM. The inspector can call you 10 -minutes before he gets there, if you request a call. We can't really tell you a definite time, only give you an afternoon range of time. Did you abandon the project, or do you need more time to complete the project? To renew your permit, please provide me a written request for a 6 - month permit extension. Include why you-nee.d the -extension, and when you expect to complete the project. I own a home at 118 motor ave PA/WA/98362. I purchased this home 26 years ago and have paid my property taxes. I am writing in regards to my expiring permit.I am asking for a extension because of the following reasons. 1) 1 was a victim of a car accident on 8/12/2010. 1 was unable to work for 4 weeks due to my injuries. I am my sole support.2) my fianances were starting to run low for the completion of the finished job. I opted to finish the outside of the house, sealing it against weather deteration. 3) 1 did check in with the city to let the department know that I would be havin? the railing put up around my stairs and back porch. I will then have the electricity and plumbing installed with those funds. it is my most feverent wish to have the insulation/drywall/flooring all finished within the next 18 months. my goal is to complete the laundry room/bathroom first,then enclose the rest with dry wall / insulation /flooring / etc. I want to thank you for your patiance with my house.
