THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance 3215 as amended, and Chapter 13.73 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code relating to ambulance service and medic I rates are hereby amended by amending sections of Chapter 13.73 as follows: CHAPTER 13.73 - AMBULANCE SERVICE AND MEDIC I PUBLIC UTILITY PART D 13.73.400. - Charges established. As provided in PAMC 13.73.300, the base rate established above shall be adjusted for persons who are Medicaid eligible and who reside in a nursing facility, boarding home, adult family home, or receive in-home services. The method and amount of such adjustments are shown on the attached Exhibit A, datedul l-1,, ' January 1, 2020 which supersedes and replaces any prior Exhibit A, is hereby adopted and approved. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of the scrivener's/clerical errors, references to other local, state, or federal laws, codes,rules or regulations,or ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers and any references thereto. Section 3. - Severability. If any provisions of this Ordinance, or its application to any person or circumstances,are held invalid,the remainder of the Ordinance,or application of the provisions of the Ordinance to other persons or circumstances, is not affected. Section 4. - Effective Date. This Ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum.
