Summary:As part of the 2013 Budget process, the Parks & Recreation Fee’s were analyzed,
reviewed, and compared to the Port Angeles Municipal Code (PAMC).During this process some
inconsistencies were found and some housekeeping measures were put in place. There were also a
number of fee charges that are used by the Parks & Recreation Department that are not listed in the
PAMC. The Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission was updated on this topic during the
December 19, 2013 meeting with more information to be provided at a later meeting. Attached is a
spreadsheet that provides information about the proposed fee additions to the PAMC and will be
reviewed in more detail during our January 16, 2014 meeting.
Recommendation: 1) Accept and approve the proposed Parks & Recreation fee additions to
the Port Angeles Municipal Code; and (2) allow the Parks & Recreation Director to make
minor modifications to the proposal, if necessary.
