Box 1150 Port Angeles, WA 98362 Dear Mayor Sissi Bruch, Thank you very much for warmly hosting us at the busiest time of the year. Thanks to your thoughtful support, we were able to enjoy Port Angeles very much. The days our students spent in Port Angeles was a wonderful experience for them. Our students were deeply moved by your tremendous hospitality. They are now very positive about communicating in English. They were really impressed by the hospitality their host families extended to them. They all hope that they will visit Port Angels again. The five-day experience they had in your city has broadened their horizons and led them to become internationally-minded people. After experiencing your generous hospitality, I realized how hard you worked to educate young people so that they can play active roles in an international society in the future. You taught us what real hospitality is. I'm sure all the students who have joined this project feel the same and will-try to improve themselves. Even though Tanabu High School will no longer be sending students to Port Angeles, we really appreciate everything you've done over the years. The bond between our two cities is truly supported by your good intentions. Again I really appreciate your hospitality. We would like to show you our own if you come and visit us in Mutsu. Sincerely, Hiroyuki Imai Principal of Tanabu Senior High School Mutsu City Aomori Prefecture Dear Ms Bruch, I apologize for the late arrival of the thank-you letter. The enclosed is the letter I sent in November. It returned to Japan after three months. Please accept the letter as a token of our gratitude. Yours sincerely, Yohei Nakata
