Re- Service to the Utility Advisory Conirnittee
Dear Mr. Atkinson,
Thank you, for your service to the Utility Advisory Committee(LIAC). As you know, serving on
a City Board is an important task that, provides opportunities for citizens to participate in
municipal decisions. I appreciate your commitment to the Board process over the last four years.
We recognize the effort and perseverance that it took to accomplish meeting goals despite the
challenges of Covid 19 and virtual meetings. Much was accomplished by Board members,,
including yearly reviews of capital improvement plans, utility rate studies, review of a
community solar program, and a review, of inany utility projects.
Perhaps you will consider re-applying to the UAC in future years and/or look at the possibility of
serving on other vacant committees within the City of Port Angeles. 'The City's website has a list
of opportunities ofthese boards and commissions.
