THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO I{EREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance 3636,3649 and367l as amended, and sections of Chapter 13.65 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code relating to wastewater service rates are hereby amended by amending Chapter 13.65 as follows: 13.65.005 13.65.006 13.65.010 13.65 .020 13.65.025 13.65.030 13.65.035 13. 65.040 1S Wastewater rate Rate class assignment Single residential unit monthly rate Commercial and industrial rate Mtmicipal and federal rates Commercial and industrial equivalent plumbing fixttre rate Reserved Rate for customers outside City limits 13.65.010 - Single residential unit monthly rate. Each residential unit and each living unit connected to the City wastewater collection, and disposal system shall be charged a monthly customer charge during months in which consumed,except when exempt by 13.61.090 PAMC. This section shall not apply to a connection to the city water system for agricultural and irrigation pu{poses 1n with 13.44.050 PAMC. This section applies only to customers whose application to be charged as provided in this section was granted on or before December 31,2019. From and after January 1,2020, no utility customer shall be eligible to apply for the option provided by this section. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction ofthe scrivener'Vclerical errors, references to other local, state, or federal laws, codes, rules orregulations, oroldiruncenumbering section/subsectionnumbers and any references thereto. Section 3 - Severabilitv. If any provisions of this Ordinance, or its application to any person or circumstances, are held invalid, the remainder ofthe Ordinance, or application oftheprovisions of the Ordinance to other persons or circumstances, is not affected. Section 4 - Effective Date. This Ordinance, being an exercise ofapower specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendurn. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title. ORDINANCE NO.3703 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington amending sections of Chapter 13.73 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code relating to ambulance service and medic I rates. These Ordinances, being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, are not subject to referendum. These ordinances shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title.
