The proposed addition to the building will increase the size to over 6250 sf, so a fire sprinkler system and fire alarm system will be required. Neither of these systems were mentioned on the plans. I spoke with the architect, they will be submitting revised plans. They will either sprinkler the building or put in a 3 hour wall to divide it into two separate buildings.
