There was a work stop order issued, as they are currently at approximately 28 ft. before the roof has been installed. The reason for my email is two fold. The first; I was under the impression that a work stop order had been issued on this residence. If this is true, then I would like to inform you that work is being conducted on the weekends. They finished framing the third story walls. I would like confirmation please that this work is allowed. The second reason I am writing is the zoning of this plot. My question is: the owner of the property does not live on this plot, it is a rental piece. Is he allowed to build a second residence on this property if he does not live there? The primary residence which is located on the piece of land is currently occupied by the 'carpenter' which is building the three story garage. The property owners plan is to have the carpenter move into the three story garage (garage plus two stories of housing) and then rent the home to another party If my interpretation of the zoning of that piece is incorrect please let me know, but I was under the impression that the owner had to live as his /her primary residence before he /she could have more than one dwelling on a single parcel of land in the city Thank you in advance for your support on this issue. I would have been at the hearing originally but I was told by the property owner that he was building a garage.
