They are not permitting these auto repair facilities since their member Citys do that. But this is the standard that they use. You will note under who needs an oil /water separator that vehicle repair facilities need them or business that are using pressure or steam washers. We had Hermann Brothers install one and had permitted it about 5 years ago. We are trying to have all of these facilities have them and maintain them but are just getting started. This is why we need to decide on what to do with those without floor drainage. They may keep things clean but the next person may spill oil all over and flush it out the door. We should be asking them to install floor drainage with OW separators just like we expect restaurants to put in GRS and interceptors.Let me know if you have any questions. I vaguely remember something about this, could you refresh my mind. It was about re-Iaying the line to remove it off of sameone's property, I think. Were we suppose to provide parts, where are we re-Iocating the pipe, etc. etc. & was there some time-line involved? Thanks Tren\a Bill B. exl 4855 1(10/18/2006) Trenia Funston - storm drain re-Iocate . Page 1j From: To: Subject: Trenia Funston Bill Beverford storm drain re-Iocate Bill, here is the sketch for re-Iocating the storm drainage pipe that crosses Oman's property on Marine Dr & 2nd Street. The idea was to direct the drainage to the west on the south side of Marine Drive and cross lot 11 to the cb on 2nd Street. We have since found out that lot 11 is private property, so the line will need to go on the west side of lot 11 closer to the intersection. May need to go down with Roger to show you where. Roger has CB in his truck, this is the one supplied by Oman for the parking lot. TF cc: Gary Kenworthy; Roger Vess; Steve Sperr {) ~ ( h,{ J .__._U -------- ~-----.
