Based on this inspection, it appears that the foundation was constructed in general conformance with the plans by this office and is therefore acceptable. The reinforcing location appears to match the plans based on locations found using a metal detector. It was also verified that the slab has mesh reinforcing using the metal detector. The foundation also appears to have been poured monolithically so the optional reinforcing between the footing and slab was not required to be installed.
