HomeMy WebLinkAbout5.356 Original ContractCopy and distribution agreement: We understand that we have purchased the L.I.D. System software for exclusive use by the City of Port Angeles. We acknowledge that the price of this system does not cover the cost of developing it. We agree that we will not distribute or sell the L.I.D. System program to anyone outside of our organization for any reason. This software may be distributed only within our organization, for use by the City of Port Angeles. We understand that all remaining distribution and copy rights pertaining to the L.I.D. System software belong exclusively to the product developer, Lisa Harvey Boyd. Box 914 Port Angeles, WA 98362 452 -5525 LID SYSTEM PROJECT PROPOSAL for the City of Port Angeles Bid Date: September 2, 1994 The L.I.D. system will be run in a database package called Microsoft Access. Access runs in a Windows environment.. This will help make the program very user friendly. This price includes customizing the package to fit the needs of the City of Port Angeles. The package price includes: L.I.D. program for Microsoft Access Necessary customizing Installation Initial user- training, as well as a user manual for the system Many screens will feature drop -down, scroll- through choices to facilitate ease of entry. Purchase of necessary Access software is not included in this bid. Package Price: 4,000.00 Z9% tax: 316.00 Total Price: $4,316.00 Capabilities of the System: The file structure is such that there will be no duplication of customer information. Not only can an L.I.D. have multiple customers, but a customer can have multiple L.I.D.s. Also: Cross -index of property address, legal description, owner of property, L.I.D., and assessment numbers. Will accommodate any payment variations, loan prepayments, partial payments, etc. Note fields can be added to each file. Calculation of interest and penalties. Principal, interest and penalty will be recorded and calculated separately in order to meet the special requirements of this program. Penalties will be calculated on -line, on a per diem basis, in order to give the delinquent customer an accurate idea of what they owe. They will be posted in the system when they are paid. Screens: Entry screen for setting up original L.I.D.s. Entry screens for setting up customer information: Master customer information L.I.D. information for customer. On -line transaction history inquiry: Locate by customer, L.I.D. number or parcel number. View of ownership history on each L.I.D assessment. On -line pay -up or pay -off for all L.I.D.s belonging to a single customer. On-line customer payment status. Future billing listing Payment posting screen: includes a view of the customer bill that was sent out. Posting default amounts will be the billing amounts. Ability to manually post partial payments or over payments. Summary of activity for a single customer with multiple loans. Note: Additional screens may be added. This is a preliminary list. Reports: L.I.D. starting information and summary of activities. L.I.D. status reports List of loans maturing each month. List of paid -off accounts with a credit balance. Foreclosures: Foreclosure listing Foreclosure notices Transaction history reports: By individual customer, for 1 L.I.D. By individual customer, for all their L.I.D.s. By individual L.I.D., for all it's customers. Aging report: 1, 2 and 3 year. Future billing report, everything in next 90 days, sorted by L.I.D. Customer bills, produced on- demand. Delinquent notices. Total payments billed and received, totaled by L.I.D. at bottom of report. Note: Additional reports may be added. This is a preliminary list.
