There is one monitoring well (KMW -4) proposed for installation on 8th Street. Two monitoring wells (KMW 9 and 10) are proposed for installation on 7th Street. The answers to the questions from the engineer are below 1) The wells will be installed to determine the off -site impacts to groundwater if any from the historic gas station located at 722 S Lincoln St. 2 Unknown at this time This will depend on the client entering the Ecology VCP program If they do we will adhere to Ecology guidelines 3 Unknown at this time The wells will most likely be abandoned once monitoring activities if any are completed following Ecology guidelines 4) We will be installing 3/4 inch pre -pack monitoring wells with a direct push drilling rig 5) I have included a monitoring well schematic with this email Based on past drilling in the area the monitoring wells will be advanced to 15 -20 feet below ground surface dependent on the water table 6 The monitoring well locations will be based on the location of buried underground utilities and obstructions I will call the utility notification service and have them mark all utilities I will then inspect the markings prior to any work and make a determination of the well locations They are tentatively set to be advanced in the pavement.
