The excavation was then backfilled with controlled density fill conforming to the requirements of the approved plan up to within approximately 12' of the bottom of the existing footing This office then inspected the reinforcing steel for the proposed footing to be placed under the existing footing and found it to be in conformance with the requirements of the plans.
