SUBJECT Electncal service to new SFR Lots 1 and the west half of Lot 2, Seamount
Estates
The existing polemount transformer on 10t Street does not have enough capacity to serve an
additional house, therefore a transformer upgrade is required.
City of Port Angeles policy requires the customer to be responsible for all costs associated
with upgrading City electncal facilities when a new service and meter are added.
Your cost for labor and matenal. supplied by the City to upgrade the transformer and install
the meter is $561 00 if the service is underground from the pole to the meter base. If the
house is served overhead from the pole /transformer to the meter base, there will be an
additional charge of $85 00 for the service wire and installation.
Payment of $561 00 for underground or $646 00 for overhead will authonze the City to
schedule the work.
