Erection plans provided by Garco Building Systems (Job# 12-B-69350) indicate that the connected joints using A325 bolts are to be tightened to the Snug-Tight condition. All mating surfaces of the building main frames were in firm contact. A325 bolts were used for all main frame connections as specified in the erection drawings. Based on inspection the bolted connections are in conformance to the 2004 edition of the RCSC "Specification for Structural Joints Using A325 or A490 Bolts". Material properties of hot rolled structural shapes conform to ASTM A992, ASTM A529, or ASTM A572 with a minimum specified yield point of 50 ksi. Hot rolled angles, other than flange braces, conform to ASTM 36 minimum. Hollow structural shapes conform to ASTM A500 grade B, minimum yield point is 42 ksi for round HSS and 46 ksi for rectangular HSS. Material properties of cold-formed light gage steel members conform to grade 55, with a minimum yield point of 55 ksi. For Canada, material properties confirm to CAN/CSA G40.20/G40.21 or equivalent. All bolted joints with A325M-09 Type 1 bolts are specified as snug-tightened joints in accordance with the Specification for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 or A490 Bolts, June 30, 2004. Pretensioning methods, 'including turn-of-nut, calibrated wrench, twist off type tension control bolts or direct tension indicator are NOT required. Installation Inspection requirements for Snug Tight Bolts (Specification for Structural Joints Section 9.1) is suggested. Using 5 x 5 gutter with" 4 x 5 downspouts, the roof drainage system has been designed using the .method outlined in the MBMA Metal Building Systems Manual. Downspout locations have not been located on these drawings. The downspouts are to be placed at the building corners and at a spacing not to exceed 16 feet. Downspout spacing that does not exceed the maximum spacing will be in compliance with the building code. The gutter and downspout system as provided by the manufacturer is designed to accommodate 4 in/hr rainfall intensity as it corresponds to a 5 year recurrence interval. Design criteria as noted is as given within order documents and is applied in general accordance with the applicable provisions of the model code and/or specification indicated. Neither the manufacturer nor the certifying engineer declares or attests that the loads as designated are proper for local provisions that'may apply or for site specific parameters. The design criteria is supplied by the builder, project owner, or an Architect and/or Engineer of Record for the overall construction project. The design collateral load has been uniformly applied to the design of the building. Hanging loads are to be attached to• the purlin web. This may not be appropriate for heavily concentrated loads. Any attached load in excess of 150 pounds shall be accounted for by special design performed by a licensed engineer using concentrated loads and may require seperate support members within the roof system. Framed openings, walk doors, and open areas shall be located in the bay and elevation as shown in the erection drawings. The cutting or removal of girts shown on the erection drawings due to the addition of framed openings, walk doors, or open areas not shown may void the design certifications supplied by manufacturer. X-Bracing is to be installed to a taut condition with all slack removed. Do not tighten beyond this state. This project is designed using manufacture's standard serviceability standards. Generally this means that all deflections are within typical performance limits for normal occupancy and standard metal building products. Hangar Door. The frame at building A building will deflect a maximum of 5.54 inches under full roof gravity loading and 2.1 inches under .uplift loading. The hangar door shall be capable of accepting these deflections. (tie-in not by building manufacturer.) To insure accurate top guide alignment tolerance for proper door operations final adjustment of the top guide system should be done after the roof system is fully loaded. Check with the door manufacturer for door guide alignment tolerances. - 2 9/23/11 The mezzanine, not by manufacturer, in building B shall not attach to material supplied by manufacturer. The stability of the mezzanine for vertical, lateral, and longitudinal loading is not by manufacturer. . 3 9/23/11 4 _ - - { Y_ r 4 ,2 9/23/11 ,f i key Struts x=double Z, Bu I l der ;. xx=triple Z, 3MS T' Uais J & J Construction o=plpe(FM) Job Nos 69350A run01 FB Strut keyr Z=double Z, T=tube(WM) O .OL Vers t orn ver01-gwmorrtts BB=Brace Beam 0,F2 0192 0122 b. ao ry m 0 y.
