Dear Mr. Anderson:
As you know, following a public hearing conducted on August 6, 2012, the City of Port
Angeles Board of Adjustment denied your application for a reduction of the side yard setback
required to store vehicles in the side yard on residentially zoned property. Any appeal of this
action must be submitted to Superior Court within 21 days of the action. Unless notice is
received that you have appealed the action to Superior Court, this will be your last notice on
this matter from the City.
The City's Board of Adjustment is a difficult Board to fill it would seem, once there is a
vacancy, likely because it meets so irregularly. I am sorry that the matter took so long to
process. I know you have been waiting since spring for this action and that it was not what
you hoped to hear.
