Dear Mr. Flaming and Ms. Van Oss:
On June 12 2003, the City completed its final inspection of the building permit frc�343
C
Mill Creek o_ urt contractor Fred Garceau had accomplished the correction items as
requi ed the City for the soffit fire blocking, the door opening between the house and the
garage, and the rerouting of the hotwater heater blowoff, and the City inspector gave a final
approval. The separation of the garage from the house and the setback of the garage from the
property line were not accomplished per the approved building plans. However, the City has
determined that correction of these problems is not practical. Therefore, the June 12 final
inspection completes the City's action on the building permit for the house and garage at 3430
Mill Creek Court.
As the property owners, the responsibility for any nonconformance will be yours,
including any future problems that may arise due to the nonconformance of the structures at 3430
Mill Creek Court. Consequently, while the life safety requirements of your house and garage
have been addressed, future problems with the nonconforming structures may arise.
With this final inspection completed, the City does not intend to take any further actions
regarding your building permit, which we deem completed.
